I had a wonderful afternoon on Sunday taking the Conway Family pictures! We had to reschedule once because of the bad weather and thought we might get rained out again but it held off till the very end of our session! The oldest, Bowen just turned 3 and I was so happy to be able to take his pictures...He is a lot of fun and LOVES Toy Story...his favorite character is Woody and he told me all about it! I had the opportunity to take his sisters newborn pics a couple of month ago and wow has she grown! Arden is still adorable and is getting prettier every day! Back in April I reached 200 likes on my Facebook fan page which can be checked out HERE and I decided to do a giveaway...a 30 minute session with a disc of a few images...Seth was the lucky winner! Come to find out, my friend and fellow photographer Mandy did a session with him last September and you can check her out HERE! Seth's story is quite unique...3 Years ago he was 500 pounds and after weight loss surgery and tons of hard work, today he is down to 260 pounds! Isn't that amazing?!? It's totally AWESOME and I believe 200 is his goal weight so only 60 more lbs to go!

We met downtown Indianapolis on Saturday at the White River State Park! I love shooting at the canal in the evenings...they have ton's of different locations throughout and the lighting is always great! The weather was perfect that night even though the weather man said it was gonna rain! :) So glad it didn't LOL :)  It was wonderful meeting you Seth! You are an inspiration to a lot of people...keep up the hard work and best of luck as you continue your weight-loss journey! Enjoy your sneak peak!

:: PHIL+FAREN :: Indianapolis Wedding Photographer, Ritz Charles, Carmel Indiana

June 11, 2011 two beautiful people joined their lives together in marriage...Phil and Faren had a perfect wedding...The morning consisted of getting ready for the girls at Diva's Hair Salon in Carmel...we met there at 8am...well, we tried to be there by 8am but unbenounced to us there was a marathon race going on all over Carmel, Indiana! There were police officers everywhere with roads blocked in order to protect the runners...I was lucky I guess because there was a break in the runners and the cop let me through! My other colleagues for the day, Rachel Vanoven and Alicia Wines were not so lucky...they had to park and walk to get to Diva's and it was not easy! After the girls finished getting their hair done, we were off to the Ritz Charles to finish getting ready and take some amazing pics!
Their ceremony was in the chapel and it went off without a hitch...you can totally tell that these two were meant for each other...the vows they wrote were beautiful and meaningful and you can just tell how in love they are! Post ceremony...You know what time it is....PARTY TIME!! :) The reception was tons of fun...the wedding party was awesome...and they had some fun guests who weren't afraid of getting out on the dance floor!

:: JOMARI :: Indianapolis Newborn and Family Photographer, Lubbock Newborn photographer

I went to Texas about 3 weeks ago for the early arrival of our godson baby Jomari! Our dear friends Manny and Iris, who my husband and I met in college, are living in Texas and I was so happy when they agreed to let me do their newborn pictures! I love going back to Lubbock to hang out with old friends from college and church, etc! The weather was quite different than what I was used to up here in Indy...it was 104 the day I left Texas...talk about HOTT!

I was there with Manny and Iris for 5 days so I got to have a couple of sessions with little Jomari and got some shots of their sweet girl Xai-Xai! My husband flew in a few days after me so we could attend the christening ceremony of little Jomari since we are the god parents! I am so happy and thankful for our friendship with this family...they love God and they have been so loving and supportive of my husband and I since we met in college! Little Jomari...you don't realize yet how lucky you are, but your family is so wonderful! We love you guys and congratulations on your perfect little family! :) XOXO

PS. This session wasn't the easiest one I have ever done...I got peed on twice and pooped on once and Manny got peed on while holding little Jomari over the bathroom sink! Anyways...I just thought you all should know what he looks peaceful in the pics and he was for the most part but he definitely put up a fight! :) LOL

Went with Iris and her mother to the one week check up...He was almost back up to birth weight and was in perfect health! :)

Welcome baby Hailey Lynn and her family to the blog! She was such an adorable and fun little newbie to shoot. I have known her mom for a few years now...our husbands work together! They are first time parents and they are a wonderful Christian family! Hailey is one lucky little girl! She came into this world a month early...on May 24, 2011 weighing in at 6 lbs 5 oz!
