Hey followers! Hope you all made it through January with flying colors. I can't believe it's already February! Those of you that keep up with me via Facebook and Twitter have seen my pics from Africa...I am just now getting around to updating my blog and I am totally sorry! I am blaming JET LAG from the 25+ hour flight from Malawi to Indianapolis! My trip to Africa was amazing and I have tons of stories to tell...Hopefully I can get a few of them together over the next couple of weeks and share my time with you! I have been editing like a crazy person these past few days and I can't wait for you all to see the beautiful scenery and amazing people of Malawi Africa. Until then...Here are a few teaser pics to tide you over and a link to the organization Circle of Hope International! Blessings! - Brandy
Above: The beautiful Grace Campus at sundown...this is all natural...pretty much SOOC!
Right: The children playing underneath the road...AFRICAN SLIP-N-SLIDE! The women and children would walk a mile from Grace Center to get buckets of water, wash clothes, bath children, etc. This is one of my favorite shots from the trip...The kids were having an AWESOME time!
Above: These are some of the children that live in Timothy's home on the Grace Center Campus. Chicondi, Fera, Maua, and Lino...such characters! I loved them all!
Left: MAUA! She is such a beautiful girl...such a wonderful spirit about her and a great smile with the cutest wrinkly nose! She's full of energy and life...Love this shot of her! :)
Above: Chicondi, Lino, and Labisoni were playing around and I really like this shot...their playfulness and joy and love in their eyes are beautiful!
Right: By far one of my top 3 shots in Africa! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture! Lino is such a strong kid and role model for the other orphaned children in Timothy's home...He's not always this serious though...He loves getting his picture taken and is full of life and love!
Below: More orphaned children living in Timothy's home on Grace Center's Campus. This was at a Sunday Church service outside in the rain...you can actually see a few drops in the photo. (from left to right) Lafani, Fera, Labisoni, Haribat, and Joe
