I was so excited when Kelly and Ken agreed to be a model couple for my portfolio shots! I have known Kelly for a couple of years now and she is such an awesome person and friend! Ken and Kelly are such a cute couple and they were a lot of fun to shoot!! The sun decided not to cooperate with us but we still ended up with some great shots! I had the pleasure of meeting miss Haley Cox this evening for her senior photo shoot! It was great getting to know her throughout the session...she's in color guard and plays the guitar and she totally rocks at both! She also plans on going to dental school which is awesome!! ASHTON+GREG | wedding

Well, I know it's been a while since I posted anything but I have been in EDIT mode! I am finally finished with the images from the wedding of Ashton and Greg...YAY! :)

I met Ashton and Greg the day of their wedding...such a beautiful and happy couple! Their families were amazing and it was such a great day...minus the weather! It decided to rain on us all morning and early afternoon but cleared up right in time for portraits before the ceremony at 5:30 and held off till the reception!

Nerves. Excitement. Family. Love.

Well, today is the big day...the day of shooting my first wedding! I am pretty NERVOUS right now, kinda hoping that I don't screw things up!! But I know that I am good at what I do and I am hoping that the nervousness subsides and I can focus on what I am there to do...Capture those very special moment for the bride and groom!

I feel like I have always been one that will rise to the occasion...I love a challenge and shooting a wedding is definitely a challenge...you only have ONE SHOT! It's not like you can say "Hey, lets try this one more time please because I failed!" No...not an option! So today I will be challenged to put my very best on the line. Today I will be asked to provide images of creativity. Today I will capture moments of LOVE and FAMILY and EXCITEMENT! Today will be the beginning of something great, not only for me, but for the bride and groom too!!

Please pray for me as as I go throughout this day to stay focused and energetic and fun...also, as of right now, it's raining! So let's hope that the weather clears out before 3 since everything is outdoors!
